Senior Benefits Consultant - Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to understand their specific employee benefits needs and objectives.
  2. Benefits Analysis: Evaluate existing benefit plans and conduct in-depth analysis to identify areas for improvement, cost-efficiency, and compliance.

  4. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide informed recommendations and strategies.
  5. Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with benefit providers and insurance carriers, negotiating terms, rates, and agreements to secure optimal benefits for clients.
  6. Compliance and Regulatory Expertise: Stay current on federal and state regulations related to employee benefits, ensuring clients are in compliance at all times.
  7. Employee Education: Develop and deliver employee education programs to ensure that clients' employees understand and appreciate their benefits packages.
  8. Reporting and Analytics: Generate comprehensive reports and analytics to demonstrate the value and performance of benefit programs to clients.
  9. Client Retention: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in benefits consulting or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CEBS, CBP, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits regulations, compliance, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis.
